Which would most likely yield a better result? Combine the AVIs with VDubMod and try to sync with the .srt using Subtitle Workshop?
Or, split the .srt in Workshop and then check for synchronicity for both sets? Thanks...

Presuming that the two .AVIs are actually the result of splitting your original .AVI - Combine the AVIs...

If you just want to play 2 avi and 1 srt, try KMPlayer. With a seamless playback feature, two avi files can be played as if it is one avi and it may be able to read the subtitle and resync within the player.

Thanks for replies...I ended up just combining the AVI's as it was a clean split with no overlap, and, the .srt remained in sync throughout.
