Hi guys,

My copy of MeGUI has stopped loading, it now states that MeGUI has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I'd just closed the program after a successful encode, and this isn't the first it's happened after encoding before. Previously, an uninstall and a reinstall would resolve the problem, this time it's hanging around.

I get the following error signature:

Error Signature

AppName: megui.exe AppVer: 0.2.4.1039 AppStamp: 45f17a3d
ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 ModStamp: 44ab9a84
fDebug: 0 Offse3t: 00012a5b

Any hints on what i can do to resolve this?

Thanks guys

edit: Forgot to mention that i have had the same issues with media player classic and VLC player, and all that was required was to delete the application data folders, but i can't find any for MeGUI. Is there any data files i can delete to resolve the issue?

The only thing megui creates is files in the directory the main .exe is in, are you sure you've fully deleted it?

Sure did, previously i had a binary that was all contained in the one folder, then i tried an installer which had the same issue.

I just returned home from work now and meGUI is up and running again, however it's currently updating every component..

strange, but at least it's back on it's feet. We'll see after i set up an encode later.

Thankyou!
