Hello,

first I have to say that Reklock is one of the most important tools I know for HTPC. IT is one of the best development I have ever used and have to thank OGO (The developer) for this. Unfortunately a long time is passed since the last release and everyone who change his system to Vista know that there a problems with it. For me this is the reason why I can't change to the new operating system. On the first hand OK because it works very well with XP on the other side I'm also interested in the new possibilities of Vista (especially the EVR and so on). Well hopefully OGO will come back and there will be a new release once.

What I know wanted to ask is whether there are people here who have the same problem and want to support a new release. Unfortunately I'm not very good in programming so the only way is to find someone who's interested in doing that. Of course it would be better if OGO comes back and do that but that means lots of work and perhaps he d not have time for that.

I'm not interested in finding someone who does that without being paid or at least supported. I just want to find someone who's really interested and can imagine to do this.

Well it doesn't matter which nationality or age or something like that it just has to be someone "freaky" enough to do this :-)

Please post here or email me if interested. If someone has the same idea and also wants to support with money or hardware etc. just contact me. I'm not interested in commercialization just want to have a smooth picture for the future :-)

Hopefully my English was good enough to understand .

Thank you very much

Bye Alex

How would anyone support a new release? The whole reason why a lot of people don't like ReClock is because it has no source code (while using GPL code originally). The only parts you can update are the GPL components.

Thanks for your answer. Well the Problem is, I think, that for an HTPC Reclock is absolutely necessary. As far as I know no other program has the same functionality. I know that there's no source code available, that's why I posted that thread.
Perhaps there are other users who need a new release (for example because the old one is not compatible with vista). Together there would be a chance. If there would be someone here who's interested in programming a new application with that functionality I would support that (with hardware, money etc.)
