Hi i'm new to flash video and just bought flix pro to encode our videos for our small video site, the results fluctuate a lot, for example:
1:
if i take 1 min of 8000kbps Lagarith lossless avi and chop it into 2 parts, the end result with vp6 cbr 1500kbps could be part1 = 4mb and part 2, 5mb - how' s that possible with cbr encoding?
2:
the videos or going to be posted on a server with no streaming engine, so do we choose VBR or CBR encoding for this purpose?
is the config for vp6 it says: VBR (local playback) and CBR (streaming) so I'm a bit confused.
3:
the finished video looks grainier than the source, is there anything I can do about this?
thanks :)
