MKV or MP4 Preview in vista

Does anybody know how to enable preview for MKV or MP4 in VISTA? Vista shows preview only for wmv , avi ,mpg and even vob but not mp4 and MKV. :(

iirc the guys from CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) figured out a way to make it work.

(they posted some reg patches there)

Yes It works! :) For convenience I've uploaded necessary registry files.

EDIT: The patch works but it takes only first frame as preview :(
