I was wondering if someone could recommend some good program to record audio that I play on my pc to mp3 and some good tool to cut the mp3 file in parts? :/

MP3DirectCut is as good as it gets for cutting MP3s (no re-encoding, free) and can also record from your sound card, if your card allows it. TotalRecorder can record any audio stream in your PC and does a better job of recording as it intercepts the stream before it gets to the sound card. It, however, costs $18 US.

thanks for the help olyteddy :)

setarip_old:

This is the source I'm recording from for example: http://http.ruv.straumar.is/static.ruv.is/stufar/tvihofdi/tvihofdi.2007-05-06.wma
it's a wma file but if I choose save target file then I only get some small wma dummy file :s
Those are icelandic humour episodes broadcasted every sunday and I would like to have them on a disc and play in my car.

Ps. Sry for late reply, been learning for exams

Hi, use wavosaur (http://www.wavosaur.com). Hit the record buttom, play the audio with your favorite media player, stop when done, then save and that is it. This little program can do big tricks too. (Features) (http://www.wavosaur.com/features.php)
