I noticed that in MeGUI I can't encode a stereo WAV file to a stereo AAC using the NDAAC-HEPS32kbps. I have tried both "downmix to stereo" and "keep original channels" and it still converts my stereo wave file to mono. Is this normal?

HE-AAC PS 32 Kb/s, where PS = Parametric Stereo, encode a stereo wav like mono and add PS information to restore the original stereo. If a old decoder don't recognize the PS info, is recovered like mono only.

Use the appropriate decoders.

Yes, it's right, please try this Tinymp4(www.tinymp4.com ),it can play mp4 with PS and also can restore to wav file.
