hello
the TT-media-center (card TT-budget S2-3200) uses the cyberlink codec to play h.264 streams, first it works all right but when after i've updated from powerdvd 7.0 to powerdvd 7.3, TT-media-center can't find the direct show filter
has anyone an idea?

Are you sure the required decoder is still available after the update?
You can check that using the Direct Show Filter Manager (found here (http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm)) and look for "CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD7)".
I have the same card, however I never updated to a newer version of the Dvd Player.

well
i've tried it a bit, but then i've reinstalled powerdvd7.0, now it works again. (never change a running system:) )
Do you use for record the TT-media-center or do you know another better software (only for HDTV recording)
and do you know how i can change "mpg" in "ts" in the timer funktion

I never liked the program that comes with the card.
I used DVB Viewer - works great. The small fee for the
pro version is worth it.
There you can also configure if you want to store .mpg or .ts (note however that for high definition content only .ts can be used).

Yup i advice DVB Viewer (GE) also.
PowerDVD 7.3 (Cyberlink H.264 Decoder) works perfect with it.
(too bad when hardware support is enabled, deblocking is disabled.... what a cheap trick)
CoreAVC also works in DVB Viewer!
