Hey guys - A newbie here to the RMVB format but I have used DivX, XviD, MP4, Mpeg-2 etc over the years, so I am not really that stupid :)

I recently purchased the RealMedia 10 encoder ( pro version ) and was wondering if I extract the movie from a ripped DVD, using DVDShrink, into a large VOB [ EG 3.5gig ] and then load the VOB into RealMedia [ Which I can do and works ] will it take the 5.1 sound track and keep it or are there options to set ?

If not, is there any other software ( free or commercial ) that I can try and use - even if I have to encode video and audio seperately and then remux into RMVB.

I am open to try anything.

I have been using MP4's created with Nero Recode for my Media PC and was wanting to try something new.

Thanks for any advice and assists. :thanks:
