maybe I'm too stupid but to finish my job I only lack to edit some IFO files and can't understand how to rewrite the values in the IFO files with ifoedit.

on the net I've found many how-to's about specific tasks to perform with ifoedit, but how can i simply replace this values? by double-clicking on'em I reach an edit window but there I can't do what I need.

I demuxed with pgcedit
encoded the audio with belight
encoded the trailer with quenc
remuxed movie and trailer with muxman
structured with vobblanker
I only lack to edit the ifo informations, how can I?

PS I've preferred posting here because I'm not sure to have explained well myself and maybe here the users will understand better this particular need, thank you for help.

The easiest way to fix these in in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html). Change things in the titles of the VTS (see here (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showpost.php?p=296707&postcount=1)). Then, align the attributes in the VTS's IFO with that of the Video Manager using the menufunction DVD --> Fix number of streams in VTSI/VMGM tables.

Yep, pgcEdit is the preferred tool to do this work.

However, VobBlanker analyzes the code and number of channels of the audio when replacing titles and ask the user for confirmation if they do not match...Are you replacing PGCs or cells?

Also you can also ask VobBlanker to copy the audio attrib (if the settings in Muxman are ok, say language, i.e). Just check
"copy Audio/Subs tables from replacing IFOs"

I have to correct myself, I used PGCdemux for demuxing..
and the values I underlined I can modify them by changing the attributes in the main window of ifoedit, I edited the numbers in the parenthesis and then all was what it must... but I can't listen.

thanks les, I tried what you suggests but the audio attributes window is not editable at all for me...
now I tried doing all the job in vobblanker, after that the attributes I can see in PGCedit are correct, but I still can't listen any audio, and the subs are black (but that I can arrange..)

maybe I'll restart it all.. wich are the right steps for you? I catch the dvd files and then what?

(PS I've seen my encoded movie has got only 1 single cell..)

For technical reasons, the streams attributes are not editable any more from the PGC Editor window of PgcEdit. You have to launch the function directly from the main PgcEdit window. (Right-click on any PGC of the domain, and select "Domain Stream Attributes".)
