a stupid question - output size??

Hi,

Please forgive me about this stupid question. Just want to understand.

o If I set TargetSectors = 2200000 in rebuider.ini. Using 3-click mode, after preparing a movie, using preview/edit to check the file size. It indicated 4.25 gb and if I increase to 4.28 gb I will have a message that it is oversize.

o If I remove TargetSectors = 2200000 in rebuider.ini. Using 3-click mode, after preparing a movie, using preview/edit to check the file size. It indicated 4.32 gb without "oversized" message?

Just wondering what is going on? and which way should I setup?

As a reference the default for DVD-RB is 2236400 sectors and the maximum for a DVD-5 is 2297888. You should always leave a some room for error.


the default for dvd-rb is around 4.32 (2236400)....

so if you are set it to 2200000, you are right on target at 4.25
