For those that haven't tried this neat little product:
It captures (if you do your own home movies), masters DVD, VCD and SVCD titles and includes a very well working burner.
The neat thing about it is that it allows you to create a scene selection menu where you either use a slider or enter the timestamps manually. It then takes the frame at that location and places the image on a selection menu, 6 up. You can add text under these images or leave them as is. If there are more than six chapters it has a mechanism where you can essentially quite easily scroll through all selections.
The advantage over VCDEASY that I see here is that it builds an actual menu for you (you can select via number keys) by grabbing the frame at that location. So you have some visual feedback of where you want to go - Just like on the DVD.
It would be nifty if someone would build a little interface that would send the Chapterextractor messages to this neat little program. I am thinking about just using Winbatch to do this but a real standalone would be a nice challenge for someone more skileld at this sort of thing.
