playing HD-DVD without map files

I noticed that when the first HD-DVDs hit bittorrent, none of the sets of EVOs had map files, discid, or the VPL files included with them. I would prefer not to ask for these files on this forum, but more of a way to get around the use of them, since I have all of the EVOs, but no way to play them. (Also a note: the files will not play at all, it starts, shows a black screen, and then stops). To show that it is not my computer or PDVD 6.5, I can play Batman Begins *though it does have the map files* just fine.
