Subtitles

I've produced excllent movies with GKnot and yesterday I tried doing one with subtitles burned on the avi itself, it came out great and with synch, The next step for me is ofcourse doing the subs and enabling them whenever I want but he problem is that I don't know what program can ply the subs alsewell as the avi. can anyone help?

gknot installs dvobsub for you.. so wmp will already be able to play the vobsub vobs. powerdivxng can handle these subs also.. and I've never tried the rest. I know that bsplayer and sasami2k can play .srt subs though.. but your question is better suited for the avi/dvd player forum
