tried. change:
viatnamese audio from 0x80 to 0x82
cantonese from 0x81 to 0x80
mandarin from 0x82 to 0x81
problem is that viatnamese audio is the 2nd audio instead of mandarin. also, how do I change "current domain stream attributes"? When I clicked it, all the options/attributes are grayed out.
thank you.

You can edit the domain stream attributes only from the main window. Right-click on any PGC of the domain, and select "Domain stream attributes".
You can also use the "Jump to PGC upon DVD insert" to select the default language and subtitle, but it will skip everything that is normally played before the menu. Guide (http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm)

I want to change the default audio from english to french in Rush hour 3; I am able to do it modifying the gprm but I could not resolve the following issue.
At one moment during the movie, the actors speak another foreign language (neither french nor english) and for that portion only, there is an english subtitle.
Can I change it to french or can I find out if that subtitle is hardcoded?
In the domain stream attribute of the movie , I have 2 audio streams (en and fr ) and 3 subpicture streams ( one en and two fr ). So, I assume that one of the two fr streams was for that portion of the movie but I cannot make it work.
Thx.

The smaller of the streams is the foreign language. It is likely to be well less than 1 Mb (you can also view the streams in DVD SubEdit). Ensure your movie starts with that stream selected.
If it is the 3rd stream then:
[51 00 00 00 C2 00 00 00] 1 (SetSTN) Set Sub-picture stream = 2, on
(Note - the stream numbers start at 0)

It is working but the english translation still appears behind the french one.
It seems I have to learn DVDsubedit. Right!. Nothing I can do anymore in PGCEdit?
Thx.

If you see two subpics at the same time, it's probably because the english subtitles are hardcoded (burned) in the movie itself, and are not real subpics. You can verify if they are hardcoded with the preview.
In this case, you cannot remove them. But, with DVDSubEdit, it is possible to move the french subpics exactly over the english ones. If you change the size of the crop borders (in the INI file), then you crop the subpic background and change the transparency of the background, you can somewhat hide the english subpics beneath the french ones. Let me know if you need some help.

They were hardcoded.
Thx, blutach and rOlZ.
