Noob question re EVODemux

I apologise in advance for this very simple question, but please indulge me! :)

Would I use EVODemux to actually rip the files directly from the disc, or would I use a different tool (like DumpHD, or BackupHDDVD C#) to do the rip first and THEN use EVODemux?

Again, I apologise for the basic question, but I'm very new at this!

You can demux the files directly if you have AnyDVD HD running. Otherwise you have to rip and then demux.

OK, so what you're saying is the ripping is a separate prerequisite step.

I understand that AnyDVD HD is an option, but do people here have a preference? DumpHD, or BackupHDDVD C#?
