batch decrypting - encoding tool
this is a tool i wrote in .hta to help speed up the ripping and x-viding of episodic dvd's (tv series), unfortunately with the good old dvd-decrypter and its limitations. Also it uses AutoGK to encode the ripped files. The helper is really really new and untested. HTA applications can be edited with a text editor though and I welcome any improvements. I hope there shall be newer versions soon. To add more series to the program it still needs to be coded in (sorry). That is something I will fix. I am proud to say that it is a 2.6kb little applet. Unzip to a folder and double click encode4.hta
For the subtitle feature to work ok, AutoGK should not be running when you click on encode. Otherwise you may end up with no sound.
I hope that your Agk and DVDdecrypter are on default install locations. Otherwise, right-click and edit the file.
you can find the file at www.demetriou.co.nr/episodebatchripper.zip
