I have a few .avi files and other video files i would like to make into .vob files to put on a DVD. I know i can use other formats on the DVD, but would like them to be .vob files.

Can somebody tell me how to make .vob video files, with which programs to do so with best quality, and what video formats i need to encode into .vob from please?

Thanks in advance, i'm a nab :P

You could try FAVC - it automates the avi/mov/wmv to dvd process.

Thanks a lot for your help, and it's working fine now. Could anybody tell me which programs i could use to convert these formats manually please:
.avi --> .vob
.wmv --> .vob
any .mpeg --> .vob

I know FAVC does them but i just want to know which programs that i can run by themself do it. Thanks in advance again!
