Question on number of frames error

I'm getting the number of frames error - I need some help in layman's terms because I know nothing about the technical jargon. LOL

I've been using DVDFab to back up my DVD's - i'm desperately trying to make a fan vid of HP and I'm getting frustrated. POA is the one that is giving me the most trouble, so if anyone can help me that would be great.

before we can give you anny further assistance we require a little more detail about your process.

what is your workflow, and desired outcome?
DVD > DVD?
DVD > MP4?
what tools are you using? And what program is giving you a "number of frames error"?

the more detail you give, the more useful our help will be.

Okay. I'll try to explain it. I am using DVDFab to decrypt my DVD. After it's decrypted, I open auto gordian, find the file, and use it to change it to avi.

I've done this other times with other DVD's and the DVD itself works just fine so something gets lost between the translation i guess. It goes through that part with the black screen - the passes I guess it is, and when it's all said and done there's the exception.
