Ok I hope someone can help me...this has been driving me crazy for a while I just couldn't find any help for it...

I have Divx Pro so I am completely confused about it...I use divx converter but there's hardly any settings in that...am I missing something?
Also I have this media player/encoder called jetaudio and it has divx pro in there...a window opens up and at the top it says Divx PRO v.6.5 and there's more settings in that than there is in the divx converter?? Why?
But even though there's more setting's there's still not a 2nd pass option??? Only "1 pass quality based", 1 pass, multi pass 1 pass, multi pass nth pass, Mutipass 1st pass fast....but no 2nd pass??? Why??
Where in the world can I reach the 2nd pass options?? Am I missing something.
Is there some other program I need or something...and will it except vob files??? Because I want to convert vobs to divx...the Divx converter excepts vobs...but there's hardly any settings??
Can someone please help me with this?

Hi.
The "Multi pass Nth pass" is the one you are looking for.
On a normal 2pass conversion, first you have to use "Multi pass 1 pass" and then the other option... But I think you can get a lot of information about that in this forum. ;)

Hi
That was the reason I ended up here too.
I used a similar program called ,I´m too dvd ripper.
That gave me a lot of headaches , how to use second pass. I was also using one pass quality settings . (not good )
Started using AutoGK , A quick read through the tutorial and I was off.
I ended up re ripping my whole collection.

You can also download and use the AutoGK program along with the Divx Pro codec, which will simplify DVD-to-Divx conversions. Don't forget Dr. Divx from the Divx.com site, which will also accept VOBs and give you some pretty straightforward control over some of the Divx codec's settings. Both programs are free, so you'll not have to break open your wallet yet again for a program you're not sure will help you.

And just so you're not left out in the cold as to how to use them, there's guides and forum support for either program. Here at Doom9's home page, there's an excellent AutoGK guide (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/right.html). While it deals primarilly with the use of the Xvid codec, everything it tells you is just as valid for Divx use--all you have to do is select the Divx codec instead of Xvid while running the program. Dr. Divx even has a guide here: http://labs.divx.com/node/242.

Hope some of this helps you out!
