Two video questions for a NOOB

I have converted several movies using "Free Ipod Video Converter" without any issues. But recently two porblems have occured in the last week...

1. Two videos I converted came back upside down and backwards. Is there a codec I need?

2. Three videos I have recently tried to convert will not convert because there is no "video stream"

Any ideas or help is much appreciated. Thank you.

1) What video codecs did you use to create the original, source videos?

2) Load the problematic source videos into GSpot and post screencaptures back here.

3) Do the original, source videos play properly?

1. Not sure. The movies were downloaded.

2. Not sure how to post screencaptures. I have Gspot though.

3. They play great on my computer. It is when I try to convert them to my Ipod.

The movies were downloaded.You might want to RE-read the Forum Rules (particularly #6), as well as the "Announcement" at the top of the "Newbies" sub-forum...
