I have a matroska video file with 2 audio and 2 subtitle tracks. I want to demux it and then make a .avi with 1 audio track because that's all my portable player supports. I tried to open it in virtualdubmod and then go to the stream list and demux but it would always crash. Does anyone know an easy to use program that lets me take a .mkv file and remove the extra audio and subtitle streams?
Thanks,
Jukey

Ok, so i demuxed it but when i try to mux it into an avi it fails. The audio is stored in ogg vorbis format, and every time VDubMod tries to read the ogg stream, it crashes. Is this a known bug, or do you think the audio stream is messed up?

Never mind, I figured out a workaround. Although it takes longer, and degrades quality, it works for me

You can't mux tha vorbis stream in avi. You have to convert it to mp3 first.

Yea, Thanks. I'm still kinda new to all this. VirtualDubMod was crashing every time i tried demuxing the ogg. Everything should be fine.
:thanks:
