Hi everyone,
I have successfully backuped my first HD-DVD which is (for me :) ) a huge achievement already...

I now have a folder containing the entire content of T3.

Question:
- Is it possible yet, to extract ONLY the movie with selected soundtrack & subtitled to an ISO image as I already do it for my DVD.

The overall objective is to read these ISO images on my media center using MyMovie2 pluggin.

Thanks a lot.

PS: I have seen the other post about using nero to create a nrg image and then convert it to ISO but it wont solve my "movie only" extract problem...

PS2: I think what we need here is a HD-DVD shrink

it's early days yet, mate. remember the keys only started coming a few weeks ago (and they'll be revoked soon enough, though existing discs will be fine with our keys, and new ones will be found soon enough).

the people need some time to write programs to do these things. right now it's closer to how things were when DeCSS was still new - backing up these discs is a difficult task right now.

however, you can demux EVO files and (depending on what type of audio you have) to a certain extent transcode everything to a more space-friendly format.

as far as i know there aren't any (free) Dolby Digital Plus decoders out there yet, but this will change now that ripping is possible - more samples means no doubt that existing ac3 decoders can be modified to take these new streams (which i gather are exactly the same but with tweaks and a higher bitrate... though i could very easliy be wrong).
