I have an xvid that I ripped from dvd using dvddecrypter. I used dgindex to create the .d2v file then encoded it using gordian knot. when I previewed in dgindex, it gave me NTSC as the type no film percentage so i didn't ivtc but left the frame rate at 29.97. When the encode was done the audio was around 10 seconds off(about the exact length of an opening vob with fbi warning). So I looked up the how to on how to sync the audio and was able to get the audio back in sync with the video as one large file (~1400mb) using nandub. I scanned through the video file all the way to the end and it remained in sync. The audio for this file is a 128k vbr mp3. Now when I try to cut the file using nandub the first half is in sync just fine but I can't get the second half to cut and stay in sync. I've tried a couple of versions of nandub and even tried vdubmod(clicking no to the rewrite header warning) all to no success. I asked a friend and he said you can sometimes have problems if you don't cut at a key frame so I made sure I used the keyframe button in nandub to ensure I was on a keyframe when i set the end/beginng split for the two cds. Any ideas on this one? I searched these boards and did a google search and wasn't able to find any matching pages.
