neroinfo seems a bit more accurate than HDadvisor from cyberlink as it shows my drivers as good (cyberlink shows red/bad despite being ati's latest) and my graphics card as requiring upgrading (cyberlink shows unknown).
It does take its processor info from the chip rather than the speed as mines a x2 3800 albeit watercooled and vastly overclocked and well over the actual speed required, and but it only shows recommended upgrade.
So hopefully now I know, I've got to get yet another card *sigh*
