Hi guys,

I ripped a PAL DVD to my HDD with DVD-Decrypter.
I then got rid of Trailers/Extras/Some menu buttons/unneeded audio streams with PGCEdit. I then demuxed video/audio/subs with PGCDemux. Then i re-encoded the main movie with CCE.

After that I was trying to put everything back together. I used IfoEdit's Authoring tool for that. Added my CCE encoded movie file, audio/sub streams and the chapter info that I took from IfoEdit.

IfoEdit left me with a working main movie. However, how can I now join the menu with the working main movie?

Help is very much appreciated.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

Although IFOEdit will do the job OK, using Muxman to author your reencoded movie is probably better. Anyway, after the authoring, you have your movie but no menu. Open the original edited DVD - the one you used PGCEdit to remove the stuff you didn't want - in VobBlanker. Use the "Replace" button to replace the original movie with your reencoded and reauthored one. Give it a Output Folder and "Process". When done you'll have the original menu, the reencoded movie, and any extras you may have kept. That's one way to do what you want. This guide, beginning with Step 6, explains the replacing process:

Simple, but very effective solution.

Thanks a lot manono, this is exactly what I had been looking for.
The guide was very helpful as well. Worked like a charm.
