HI people
I am yet to make my first VCD. I realise that the VCD spec states to use 44.1k audio but would I have any problem using 48k audio taking into account that my goal is to play the VCD's on my stanalone. Cheers

You should use 44.1 (is the standard). If not you are going to have syn. problems...

VCD Audio must be 44.1 KHz @ 224 Kbits/sec. That's the standard for standalone DVD/VCD player. To play on PC, it doesn't matter.

Happy 2K2.

In standalong DVD players it doesn't have to be 224Kbits/sec. You can lowered it if you need more space...:)
