The newest version of NERO supports authoring MP4AVC.
The problem is that it always authors using what i suppose is the bluray disc method/bluray folder structure. I choose DVD as my output and used a small 1 minute movie and ended up with a BDMV and corresponding folders on my DVD.
So thats the bad news, the good news is that if BluRay authoring is there, surely HD-DVD authoring will follow relatively quickly?

Has anyone tried the blu-ray/hd plug-in for Nero? I have lots of questions.
Can you use avc? can you use video from other encoders? Can you burn to DVD? Can you burn SD? Can you make a image file playable on your hard drive? Does it take video from those new hdd HD cameras directly?
It looks interesting but I can find hardly any info on it. I just don't have the money right now to throw away on more Nero software that almost does what I need it to.
