Gentlemen, sorry for posting it here but any other place seems even more inappropriate and question is about Nero and PS3. I have an issue which bothers me for some time already and outside general knowledge I can not get anything more legitimate. I am long time dedicated Nero user (and with great respect to colleagues complaining I thing it is great piece of software for such a semi advanced users like myself). My problem is subtitles in mp4.
I am getting ready for PS3 or/and Apple TV. I welcome Nero to PS3 macro – that will make life easier. But any idea will those devices support any kind of subtitling. Nero private sub recognized in the container would be welcomed but you know Sony and Apple the masters of proprietarization. Does anyone know if any other ISO prescribed subtitles are or will be respected by those devices?
Regards, malimarek

Sorry then.

Is PlayStation 3 supporting any subtitles in mp4 container (including, maybe and with hope, Nero’s ones)? Any idea if AppleTv will support any subtitles?
Sorry again for confusing – not an English native and I did not ask anything long time.
Regards. marek

nero subtitles in mp4 are not standard mp4 subtitles. i doubt that the nero subtitles will get wide support unless nero pushes hard for it, which doesnt seem to be the case or successfull for big players like the ps3, ipod, psp aso...

that said i dont think it will be supported in the ps3 soon
