XSVCDs with DVD2SVCD

I am interested in attempting a XSVCD with DVD2SVCD. What modifications do I need to make to the AVISynth script to produce the higher resolution of the XSVCD?

Couldn't the BicubicResize line just be removed completely?

I got another question which may be a little off topic, but is it weird that my standalone doesn't play svcds, but can play xsvcds? The svcd's are choppy when played, but I read on vcdhelp that even though svcd isn't supported, xsvcd is.
