some dvd's come with an extra folder with a background image that shows up when the dvd is inserted but not playing (on standalone dvd players). would i be able to just stick it in a backed up iso with ultraiso, or does it need to be decrypted? if so, how?
i havent really heard much about this feature until i started seeing it, but i suppose its worth keeping just cause its there and it doesnt take up alot of space.. i dont like my sony background screen very much, how can i create a custom image so i can put it on all my dvd's?

(In my experience thusfar, ONLY SONY players avail themselves to using this capability)

are you serious? what a f#$%ing waste. im not surprised tho, the default sony bios image sucks, so does their screen saver, which is just a blue [DVD PLAYER] bar that doesnt even float. even my Apex was more interesting to watch than that.
anyway, are there any creation / editing tools for these? the jacket_p folder sure has a lot of random files for a backgound image.

the jacket_p folder sure has a lot of random files for a backgound image. No, the standard "Jacket_P" folder contains 3 (and only 3) .MP2 files - and nothing else...
