DVD not recognized

Hi All,

My Departed DVD wont play on my DVD drive but it will play on my friend's DVD player. But I can play other DVDs on my system.

Exchange the DVD - try cleaning it first.

If you are referring to a backup copy that you've made, it's likely a matter of media incompatibility. To determine the capabilities/limitations of your DVD burner, as well as media compatibility, go to:

(If necessary, open the Device Manager in the Control Panel to determine the make and model number)

You might also try burning at a lower speed.
