View Full Version : Is there an all-in-one package out there that does it all?

Hi,

I think CloneDVD 2 is superb, but you can't rip new DVD releases and so people like me (complete and utter novices :) ) are having major trouble finding packages that can do the trick. Even if we do find a package, we can't properly figure out how to use it :(

So I was wondering....is there a package out there that can do it all and is constantly updated by the developer to overcome any new protection the film companies throw at us?

Consider RipIt4Me (http://www.ripit4me.org/), together with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink - all freeware.

CloneDVD2 does not have copy protection removing abilities. I don't have a clue as to how you backed up your movies before?!

....I have DVD43 running in the background and it seems to do it perfectly fine (not with newer DVD titles though).

CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD together makes for an excellent and easy-to-use commercial solution, but the same thing can be done, and with virtually the same quality output, with RipIt4Me and DVD Shrink.
