I have a lot of movies downloaded as .avi's some of which are MPEG4. All of these play properly on my computer but quite a few, and there does not seem to be a way of knowing in advance which, play badly on my Grundig. The video can have distortions, won't centre itself on the TV screen and, worse of all, the sound track is not in sync, sometimes several seconds out of sync.
Is it the codecs Grundig use? I use VLC on my computer which seems to be able to handle almost anything.
I don't suppose anything can be done about this but it would be nice to know just why its happening on what is suposed to be a quality machine.
Thanks for reading.......any suggestions would be appreciated
