Hi, im trying to convert a WMV dvdrip (anime) to xvid. So i rip the audio from the wmv file to wav/mp3. I use an avisynth script to open the video in vdubmod and add the wav or mp3 as stream. Then i setup xvid.
But after encoding, the audio is out of sync :S. I dont get it, because in vdubmod the audio is in sync when i play it.
It's just strange.

Does someone know this problem?
Help me please.

Thanks alot.

It's not a problem of the codec. There's a chance that you are handling a "Variable frame rate" video and when you try to put it into a .avi (container that cannot handle VFR) your audio streams goes out of sinch. Search in the avisynth forum on how to convert variable frame rate to costant frame rate.

No talk about possibly pirated material, please, not even 'not-yet-available-outside-of Japan-anime'. Forum rule 6 applies, closed
