Split AVI by time stamp.

Hi, does anyone know if an AVI can be split by a time stamp. Like for security video:

"Find me the sectionof video that shows what happend between 3:03 and 3:30 PM"

And, if this can be done, is there an AVI synth flter that will do it?

AVI files don't store absolute timestamps like that. The best you could do is to try to make a guess based on the file creation date and a time offset into the file.
