Hi guys!

How can we convert DV-DVI to XVID format. I use Auto Gordian Knot to convert my DVD's and other MPEG to XVID but unfortunately it doesnt support DV-AVI. Please help.

You may follow the "DV to DivX guide" in this very forum, or you may simply open the DV file in VirtualDub, select XviD for video compression (and probably MP3 for audio, provided that you have the Lame ACM codec installed).

Beside that, first thing to do would be to post your logfile to see what error is displayed ?! ;)

You can give Avidemux (http://www.avidemux.org/) a try. It supports DV and AVI as input and it has Xvid encoder built-in.
