View Full Version : Tv Out Problem

Hi!

I switched to a new videocard (Asus 7600GT) and I experience an odd issue with my TV output. When I watch a movie on the TV, there is alot of saturation and contrast, and the sides of the images are somehow curved towards the interior. This happens in full screen.
Now, the strange thing: when there is something OVER the movie image in full screen, like a menu bar, or subtitles or anything small which is over the movie image, the image is perfect. Meaning: in windows media player 11, when I go down do the menu bar, the picture is perfect when the mouse remains on it. When I right click the image in full screen in VLC, and the menu pops up over a part of the movie image, the image changes to perfect again.
Do you have any idea where the problem could be?
I tried virtually anything: latest drivers, new SVideo cable, every software player out there etc.
My ATI Radeon 9600 Pro had no problem at all with the same cables and TV.
I would be extremely thankful for your advice!
