Long-time user of RB-Pro but relative neophyte when it comes to the Batch function. I Batch'ed two movies last night using v1.21, and in neither case did the output reflect the Blanking I'd requested in the Viewer/Editor. I thought I did it right:

1. Set my options & Prepare
2. Open the Editor and make my Blanks, reallocate to Feature using handy Action menu item
3. Save and Exit Viewer/Editor
4. Save as RBD project
5. Repeat for 2nd dvd
6. Add each RBD to Batch window and Start

470 minutes total, but none of my Blank requests were honored. Assuming PEBCAK error here--is my sequence wrong somehow? Where in the RB files might I look to find where my Blank-ing requests (stuff like studio logos & THX etc.) should have been stored? TIA.

Did you remember to put checkmark to "Skip PREPARE phase in batch"? Thought to check it first, has happened to me before :)

Did you remember to put checkmark to "Skip PREPARE phase in batch"?Thanks TBL; I have joined "the club" of people who have made that mistake! Damn!!! :scared:

Oh well, another 470 minutes isn't going to kill my CPU (is it?).

Thanks again...

You're welcome.

Naah, it won't. My system is so old you don't get much faster encodes (P4 NW), usually 4,5-8h per encode using HC, depending on the source. Except for The Simpsons using pretty heavy filter with anime preset:

Phase II ENCODING completed in 1366 minutes.

I guess I shouldn't be doing this today; after changing the "Skip Prepare" checkbox, and redoing my Blanks, I then forgot to "Reallocate Saved Space to Feature"!!! Oh well, this time I wasted less than an hour.

Making all the mistakes today... :o
