hi all

I read on the FAQ section the following:

"How do I burn a VCD that's larger than 650MB?

Burn it as normal.. as long as it's not longer than 74minutes. You don't have to overburn or use 80 minute CDs"

does that mean that if I have a vcd i created and its 900 mb (just an example, didnt exacly calculated it) but its 79 minutes, I can burn it on a 800mb cd? (according to the FAQ a 800*1024*8/1374 = 79 minutes i can hold in one cd)

I thought that vcd is basicly an mpg file which means its data, so the limit it by the file size (800 mb in my example)

please tell me if I understood it correctly

thanks

Hi

When you burn VCD's its like burning music.

Your burning on time and not data. I can't remember if this is mode 2 or mode 1 :/

Therefore don't worry about mpg size when burning VCD's just worry about time.

Therefore 74 minutes of VCD will fit on a normal 650mb/74min blank CDR. As long as the video is 74 minutes it should fit, don't worry about the size of the mpg.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
