I am trying to author a 720x576 HDDVD using a home video movie.
Everything works ok with Scenarist 4.1, video tracks are accepted, dolby digital and LPCM audio tracks are accepted BUT dts tracks are not accepted.
Can anyone tell me why does this happen?
(By the way with Scenarist 2.7 and 3.1 the same tracks and dts are accepted fine)

It's very strange. I tested it again with hd material, it accepts everything even multichannel wav files but NO dts. I can't believe it

DTS Encore delivers 5.1 channels of audio at 1.5 Mbps .......Support for DTS Encore is mandatory in both HD DVD and Blu-ray formats.

There are simply particular limitation for Sonic SCA. For example HDDVD support DD up to 512 Kbps but not sonic SCA.
Moreover DTS is simply useless old audio codec for HDDVD. You can use MP2, DD, DD+, DTSHD for lossy codec.

Maybe this message from another forum helps you with DTS and BD Advanced authoring...:-):
