Please make your TSPE WYSIWYG!
It would be great to really see what we get!
Now we see the video in the preview at places where we definitely will not get the cuts! :(
For example, please make "byte position" the guiding (and only) input for the preview window (as it seems to be for the actual cuts and the test option). Time info and block number are welcome as informational output.
Navigation is primarily done with the slider and the +-frame keys. So there is no necessity to input numbers which have emotional meanings to the user like time values may have.
I do not care so much for the timecode of a cut point, but I do care a lot about the visual and audio content of that part of the video! With a cutting tool it is essential to see where you cut and to get the cuts where you visually have placed them.
If we get what we see, TSPE will be an excellent tool we enthusiasts long have waited for. :)
