View Full Version : Help with .tp files in zoomplayer

I have downloaded a demo .tp file from the website http://www.dvbportal.de/projects/hdtvpump/ and also a .ts file from elsewhere.

The .ts file plays fine and uses the Nvidia Purevideo decoder so on my 1.8 Ghz Athlon 64 2800+ a 1080i demo takes only 38% cpu using my 7600GS AGP card and ZoomPlayer but the .tp file does not play.

It opens, the ZP screen stays black and the bar showing how far into playback the file is shows that playback has started briefly (the left side of playback bar colours blue) then goes black and this just repeats.

Can anyone recommend a cause for this or maybe a way round this problem? I know I need tyo set filters corectly but I am not sure which ones or how as I cannot play wmv files on my system at all (just a black screen) and PureVideo decoder only seems to playback with the .ts files as wmv / h264 do not for some reason use the PureVideo decoder.

Smart play in ZP is turned off and the Nvidia decoders priorities are all set to preferred using a programme called DFSMgr.

My system is dual boot X64 and XP pro (32 bit), 180 GB IDE hard drive, 1 GB Ram, Nvidia 8x AGP 7600GS running at 400 Mhz clock speed and 500 Mhz memory speed with 256 Mb DDR 3 memory on it and connected to an LG 37" HD TV which, as with most sub £1500 HDTV sets in UK, has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and upscales up to 1080i (very nice picture though).

Any help with settings would be appreciated, thanks.

Dave

PS and yes I did use search feature on the forums
