Hello! I have a "sound" problem which is driving me mad. I use Nero Vision Express 3 to Make a Movie by importing video files from
a specific folder. These files include the audio. When I play one of these files using a stand alone player like Nero Showtime, the volume is normal. I open Nero Vision Express 3, click "Make a Movie", I Browse for Media and add the files to the project. I arrange them in the timeline and play them. The audio is now "lower" by about 25%! I have uninstalled all of Nero and re-installed with no difference. I also now have the same problem when using DVD Shrink. This problem surfaced about 2 months ago. I cannot "amplify" the audio in a DVD using Nero Vision Express 3 unless someone knows something I don't, which is very possible! NeroVision also give me an alert: Hardware Acceleration is deactivated. Some Capture devices may not work properly...etc.
I used the Directx Diagnostic tool and found Hardware Acceleration "was indeed activated." In frustration, I saved all my documents and re-formatted my HD and re-installed everything, including Directx 9.0. The problem persists and I still receive the above NeroVision alert! What else can I do? And, is there a software program which I can use duplicate my DVD's which allows me to "amplify" the audio to near or above normal?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Cheers!
