I just decrypted X-Men 3 and although everything looked like it went as normal, I cannot play back in ANY player I have tried.

I have tried MPC, Showtime, VLC, Windvd, Theatertek, Windows Media Player, Powerdvd(blu).

MPC= Playback (in almost slow motion w no sound)

Showtime=Plays but also in slow motion/stopping and stuttering but with sound

VLC= About as good as MPC

Now I am sure this NOTHING to do with the processing power of my PC as I am running an AMD Dual Core 5000+ and run HD-DVD (as well as ALL h264 video) with ease. Any ideas? Could it just have been a bad decryption?

maybe its a disc with multiple title keys. unfortunately backupbluray doesnt support multiple keys and the key thread here mostly collects the first title key (which isnt very future proof)

are there multiple AACS\CPSUnitXXXX.cci files?

open AACS\Unit_Key_RO.inf in a hex editor
look at the first 4 bytes. mostly its "00 00 00 80"
go to this position (here: 0x80) and look at the first two bytes. this is the number of title keys.

so on most discs it currently is "00 01" at 0x80

regards

edit: well it prolly isnt a decryption error if you can play it back. try demuxing it

The XMen3 Backup plays fine with PWDVD 7.2.
It also works with mediaplayers but only with spanish audio.
I used the Key from this Forum.

That's it. I was under the impression that I would just be able to play the m2ts under VLC or MPC. I ran it under Powerdvd 7.2 and it ran perfectly. No problems with decrypt.
