Does anyone know of any applications that will allow me to edit a .scp file other than Script Merger.
It would be great if it could pull the objects into a tree, I could select multiple PGCs and apply any changes I make to a command on one PGC to all that I have selected.
If I could automate this I could save the time making changes to individual commands in over 900 PGCs.
Any ideas?

There aren't any specific tools out there to do this sort of thing, but a lot of people and companies I know have written custom tools to do a variety of tasks with an exported script. Fairly easy to do if you can script. Have a go. It's mainly basic search & replace in the script file.
Good luck.

I have no doubt these people and companies are doing this for the exact thing I wish to do.
I do use the find and replace in a text editor at the moment which is okay I suppose. But a custom tool would have certain benefits, I can script XML, Javascript and HTML, but don't know where to start in creating my own tool. How have the custom tools been created that you know about?

I use VB.Net to create my toolset. Don't know about what other people use at it's kind of their company secret :sly:
Good Luck,
