Hello,

i had to switch to scenarist from maestro because i try to make a hd-dvd.
I have to say scenarist is quite tricky :/
I just want to make a dvd with a menu with 4 buttons (play movie, audio1, audio2,subs) linking to single movie.
everything in the asset is ok, but i can't figure out with the layout editor. Every try i make my audio & subs buttons doesn't work : they all linking to the first audio & i always see the subs.
I tried with the help file & some tutorials (including one from doom9) but i still can't make it :(
i don't understand (or i'm not sure) what i have to put in the VideoManager folder, the vts & title folders.
I added a language in the VideoManager (english), drop my menu in, added a folder title_1 in VTS_1, dropped the movie in, add a language (english) in VTS_1 & dropped the menu in, & linking the buttons.
I did the same adding a second language (i'm not sure if "language" is for the dvd itself or for the tracks, this is not clear)

Where am i wrong ?

many thanks for your help

I think that you are in the wrong forum. This is not advanced authoring but standard authoring. You might get answers if you post in the right area.

Now i'm not clear with what you say. If you moved from maestro to scenarist for HD-dvd why are you using scenarist to make a standard dvd ? You could still use maestro to compil your easy to author dvd, and then, when you are ready to switch for hd-dvd authoring.
