I am looking at getting a HDTV tuner card for my computer, but I also have some old VHS tapes I was thinking of converting to DVD.
I was looking at the KWorld ATSC-110 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815100140) as it was getting good reviews on NewEgg. Has anyone have any experiences with it for ether of those tasks?
In a related question, what happens if you try to capture 1080p with a device that only supports 1080i (as the above card does)? Is 1080p too rare for that to be a problem?
