Playing HD-DVD Backup's over LAN

Finally got my HD-DVD backups playing over LAN, but it is a bit jittery on a machine that plays my backups via USB Hard Drive a-ok (x2 4400). Anyone have any success with playing backups over LAN? My router is a mere 10/100, and the connection is Cat5, not wireless in this case.

Mine play fine over the lan with a gigabit router and gigabit cards at both ends. Network usage seems to be mostly below about 12% with occasional jumps to higher.

works fine here also with gigabit router/cards...
I do not think that a 100mbps is enough when the video bitrate peaks in the movie especially if your link between the two computers is not perfect and that there are transmission errors.

You should benchmark your connection to make sure your bandwidth is high enough...
