Video segment viewer/editor

I've read about people that decrease the bitrate for a specific scene using the video segment viewer/editor in the pro-version.
How do I do that? :)
The only thing I can find in the viewer/editor is to blank out certain scenes and make them appear as slideshows.
Hints anyone?
I use the latest version v1.21 pro.

Select "Use Beta (test) Editor" under the "Settings" menu.

Nothing happens when I select it...? Just a checkbox..

You must run PREPARE first (Three-Click-Mode) => tick "Use Beta (test) Editor" => then select "Video Segment Viewer / Editor"

Thanks, I'll check that out. A updated manual bundled with the software would be a nice thing to have.. ;)
